#71 Sports Day with SPD at ACS Barker 🎉与 SPD 和英华（巴克路）中学的运动会 🎉

Glad to be invited for the fourth time, and this round with the company of secondary school boys from Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road). Had a good time catching up with familiar volunteer faces, as well as interacting with the parents of the children through games and activities.

The Barker Road campus itself carries a rich history. Back in 1950, it was made possible in no small part thanks to Tan Chin Tuan, an ACS International alumnus, legendary banker, and philanthropist.

He served on the Building Committee and contributed generously to its facilities, including the Tan Chin Tuan Hall, which still stands today as a reminder of his commitment to education and community.

Beyond his career as the long-serving Managing Director and Chairman of OCBC, Tan Chin Tuan was remembered as benevolent, discreet, and deeply honest—a civic leader whose philanthropy uplifted generations.

His values of integrity and service continue to inspire the ACS spirit of developing young men for service to God and humanity.

#71 与 SPD 的运动会 🎉

很高兴第四次受邀参加，这一回还有英华中学（巴克路）的中学生们同行。与熟悉的志愿者们再次相聚，也通过游戏和活动与孩子们的家长互动，度过了一段愉快的时光。

英华巴克路校区本身也承载着一段丰厚的历史。早在 1950 年，校友兼著名银行家兼慈善家 陈振传先生 就在建设委员会中发挥了关键作用，并慷慨捐助，包括现今依然屹立的 Tan Chin Tuan Hall（陈振传礼堂）。

他不仅是华侨银行长期的总经理与主席，更以仁厚、正直、低调的作风被人们铭记。

他的价值观——诚信与奉献——延续至今，成为英华精神的一部分，培养学生以服务上帝与人类为己任。
