#comfortable#publictransport#carbonemissions – “Life isn’t a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ question, but a myriad of options. Expand our possibilities today.” Mar Vin, Foo 🪟🌿
I take public transport whenever it makes sense to me, and it is increasingly sensible as Singapore’s train network expands with Circle Line, Downtown Line, Thomson Line and the upcoming Cross-island line.
Of course, we must not forget our trusty North-South and East-West lines which have served us dutifully since 1987.
There are many compelling reasons to take public transport in Singapore,
1. Comfort;
2. Faster travel time;
3. Lower carbon emissions;
4. Hands-free experience, especially important in the smartphone era and the wonderful sceneries of Singapore where colonial, Asian and Western cultures blend across our landscape; and
5. People watch and feel connected.
Do I drive? Yes, I do when it makes sense to save time so that I can achieve more in a day. As a business developer and consultant, our value increases with our network and insights derived from conversations.
The more conversations we have, the more ideas we get to make the world a better place.
I am Mar Vin Foo .
Thank you for being open to possibilities and living in harmony.
Please share your reasons for taking public transport in the comments too!
P.S: This is a reserved seat, so share and offer it to elderly and special needs commuters.
